ISO 101 for Public Officials: Registration open

Registration is open for ISO 101 for Public Officials, a full-day, in-person training session.

The training will be offered Tuesday, Oct. 7, at ISO New England’s campus in Holyoke, Massachusetts. It will cover the three critical, interconnected roles ISO New England performs to ensure the reliable flow of competitively priced wholesale electricity: grid operations, market administration, and power system planning. The course also includes a tour of the control room.

ISO 101 is designed as an introductory course suitable for individuals who are new to the regional electricity industry or who are interested in learning about the roles and responsibilities of the ISO. This course will also help attendees identify topics of interest for further, more in-depth training.

The training is open only to New England state and federal public officials and staff, including legislators, policymakers, public utility regulators, environmental regulators, energy officials, siting officials, consumer advocates, and attorneys general.

Registration and additional information is available through ISO-TEN, the online registration site for the ISO New England Training and Events Network.
