Registration open for ISO 101 course for New England public officials

ISO New England is pleased to announce that registration is now open for ISO 101 for Public Officials.

The full-day, in-person course on Tuesday, October 8 at ISO New England in Holyoke, Massachusetts covers the three critical, interconnected roles the ISO performs to ensure the region’s reliable supply of competitively priced wholesale electricity: grid operations, market administration, and power system planning. The course also includes a tour of the control room.

Designed as an introduction for individuals relatively new to the industry, the course helps attendees identify topics of interest for more in-depth training.

The course is open only to New England public officials and staff, including state and federal legislators, policymakers, public utility regulators, environmental regulators, energy officials, siting officials, consumer advocates, and attorneys general.
