Interactive user guide available for NX Application
An interactive user guide is now available for the NX Application, a key tool for modeling the bulk electric system.
The NX Application hosts data representing the physical characteristics, ratings, and operational information for transmission and generation equipment. This data is used to develop accurate system models and support the reliable operation of the New England power system.
The NX Application User Guide provides instructions for using the application, including NX-9 and One-Line forms, related tools and processes, and guidance for completing the OP-16 annual certification. Users will learn how NX serves as a single point of entry for NX-9 data and One-Line diagram forms, supports real-time data availability, and provides enhanced search capabilities and data review tools to support day-to-day activities.
Additional training materials related to the NX Application are available on the ISO New England website.
