ISO Minute: From intern to employee

ISO Minute is a video series featuring ISO New England employees sharing their experiences supporting the reliable operation and ongoing evolution of New England’s power grid.

Emily Laput’s experience as an ISO New England intern left such a lasting impression that she returned three years later as a full-time web content and design specialist.

In this ISO Minute, Laput shares how her internship helped shape her career and ultimately brought her back to ISO New England.

“People typically assume, looking at ISO New England, that it’s for engineers or economists. But there are so many other fields that you can intern for here at the company,” Laput says. “If there’s an opening related to your interest, definitely apply.”
