ISO New England now offers a brief training video that introduces high-level concepts around metering and telemetry for distributed energy resource aggregations under Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Order No. 2222.

“FERC Order No. 2222 Metering & Telemetry: What You Need to Participate” can be viewed in under 5 minutes. Viewers will learn the difference between settlement data and real-time operational data, when each is required, how requirements vary by participation model and aggregation structure, and why early planning is critical for successful participation.
