Conversational keynotes: ISO-NE staff share expertise at March events
Collaboration, expertise, and innovation are three of ISO New England’s core values. Staff embody these values by presenting their work at electricity industry conferences and events around the region, the country, and the world. Here’s a selection of their March speaking engagements.

President and CEO Vamsi Chadalavada was the keynote speaker March 20 at the New England Energy Roundtable in Boston, where he took questions from host Matt Nelson of Apex Analytics. The event also featured panel discussions on energy affordability.

Marianne Perben, director, Planning Services, spoke at the Northeast Energy & Commerce Association’s 2026 Renewable Energy Conference in Medford, Massachusetts, on March 18. She was part of a panel discussion titled “The Grid We’re Becoming.”

Eric Johnson, executive director, External Affairs, and Kerry Schlichting, supervisor, State Policy, hosted an “Intro to ISO” webinar on March 11. The event was designed for a non-technical audience to learn about ISO New England.
Johnson and Schlichting also spoke at a Connecticut General Assembly Energy & Technology Committee informational forum on energy costs on March 24.
