Outreach to the states: ISO-NE staff share expertise at February events

Collaboration, expertise, and innovation are three of ISO New England’s core values. Staff embody these values by presenting their work at electricity industry conferences and events around the region, the country, and the world.

In February, members of the External Affairs team met with representatives of state and local governments to educate them about the ISO’s work.

Executive Director Eric Johnson discussed gas-electric coordination at the National Association of State Energy Officials Energy Policy Outlook Conference in Washington on Feb. 5.

Johnson and Nathan Raike, associate state policy advisor, gave a virtual presentation to the Energy and Climate Committee of Keene, NH, also on Feb. 5.

Melissa Winne, senior state policy advisor, gave a virtual talk on Feb. 14 at the Coffee & Climate series hosted the Maine group One Climate Future.

Anne George, vice president, chief external affairs and communications office, spoke on a career panel at the University of Connecticut’s Center for Energy and Environmental Law on Feb. 19.
