ISO Minute: Celebrating the International Day of Women and Girls in Science
ISO Minute is a video series featuring ISO New England employees speaking about their experiences working for the region’s independent system operator and supporting the safe and reliable transition to clean energy.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, a day dedicated to fostering inclusion and encouraging future generations of women in STEM.
In this ISO Minute, Kim Quach, an engineer on the ISO’s Economic Studies and Environmental Outlook team, shares how her passion for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) began in the sixth grade, inspiring her to pursue a degree in environmental engineering.
Today, Quach plays a key role at ISO New England by producing analyses on air emissions associated with the region’s power system.
