Collaboration, expertise, and innovation are three of ISO New England’s core values. Staff embody these values by presenting their work at electricity industry conferences and events around the region, the country, and the world. Here’s a selection of their December speaking engagements. 

Market Administration

The 2024 New England Energy Summit, on December 3 in Boston, featured Anne George, vice president, chief external affairs and communications officer. She joined a panel discussion titled “A Quarter Century of Competition: What’s Changed and How Did We Get Here?”

At the same event, ISO New England Board of Directors Chair Cheryl LaFleur moderated a roundtable featuring four CEOs in the energy industry.

Marianne Perben, director, Planning Services, discussed the Economic Planning for the Clean Energy Transition study at the New England Electricity Restructuring Roundtable in Boston on December 17. Her presentation was part of a panel discussion titled “Future Grid Scale Clean Energy Options for New England.”

Dan Schwarting, manager, Transmission Planning, discussed the ISO’s 2050 Transmission Study at an Energy Systems Integration Group conference in Westborough, Massachusetts, on December 3.
