Understanding the 2050 Transmission Study: Register for ISO-NE’s free webinar

Join ISO New England on Wednesday, May 1, at 10:00 a.m. for a public webinar on its recently released report, the 2050 Transmission Study. This landmark longer-term study provides a look at the ways in which the transmission system in New England may be affected by changes to the power grid driven by state policy. It includes “roadmaps” designed to assist stakeholders in their efforts to facilitate a smooth, reliable clean energy transition.

The 90-minute event is free, and is designed for a non-technical audience. Registration is available online.

This webinar will provide an overview of the study methodology and results. Attendees will have an opportunity for limited questions, as time allows. A recording of the webinar will be posted shortly after the event.

Interested participants can register through ISO-TEN, the online registration site for the ISO New England Training and Events Network. Upon registration, attendees will receive details on how to access the webinar. For those new to ISO-TEN, a simple, free account setup is required.

The final report, fact sheet, and related study materials can be found on the Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) webpage on the ISO-NE website.

Please contact ISO New England’s External Affairs team for questions or additional information.
