First Consumer Liaison Group meeting of 2024 to focus on demand response

Registration is open for the next quarterly meeting of the Consumer Liaison Group (CLG), scheduled for March 6 at the Doubletree by Hilton in South Portland, Maine.

The meeting, titled “Incorporating Demand Response into Electricity Markets and Transmission Planning,” will feature keynote remarks from Jill Powers, sector manager, Demand Response and Distributed Energy Resources, California ISO. A panel discussion on the topic will feature:

  • Ian Burnes, director, Strategic Initiatives, Efficiency Maine Trust
  • Doug Hurley, vice president, policy, Icetec Energy Services
  • Bradley Swalwell, market & analytics manager, Tangent Energy Solutions

CLG meetings are free and open to the public. A virtual registration option is available for those who wish to participate via webinar, which begins at 12:30 p.m. Registration is required for both attendance options. Registration allows the CLG to plan accordingly for anticipated in-person attendees, and to provide virtual and teleconference details to Webex registrants.

The event will also feature an update from ISO New England. Additional information regarding the CLG, including meeting agendas, speaker bios, and presentations, is posted to the CLG webpage.
