Now online: Slides and video from introduction to system planning webinar

A recent webinar offered by ISO New England gave participants insights into various aspects of power system planning, which is one of the ISO’s three critical roles.

The slide presentation and a recording of the webinar, Introduction to ISO New England System Planning, are now available online.

Over 200 individuals registered for the December 14 event, which covered system planning basics, resource adequacy, transmission planning, long-term planning processes, and more.

Robert Ethier, vice president of the ISO’s System Planning Department, provided an opening overview, followed by a presentation from Eric Johnson, director of External Affairs, and Andrew Kniska, a principal engineer in System Planning.

The webinar was part of a series of free presentations about the ISO’s work designed for individuals without a technical background.
