Register now for Board of Directors open meeting, Regional System Plan presentation

This year’s open meeting of the ISO New England Board of Directors, to be held in November in Boston, will provide an opportunity for the public to observe Board discussions related to system planning and operational issues. This year’s meeting will highlight the 2023 Regional System Plan and provide an opportunity for public comment.

The Regional System Plan (RSP) is a comprehensive report on the resources and transmission facilities needed to maintain the reliability of New England’s power system, while also accounting for market efficiencies and economic and environmental considerations, over a 10-year horizon. Stakeholders responsible for developing needed resources can use the RSP to assess their options for satisfying these needs and commit to developing market resource projects.

This year’s meeting takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, at the Seaport Hotel, 1 Seaport Lane, Boston. Those interested in attending either in person or virtually must register in advance. In-person seating is limited to 150. Those who register to attend in person may request to speak during the meeting’s public comment period.
