ISO-NE releases summer 2023 update to Wholesale Markets Project Plan

ISO New England has published the latest edition of its Wholesale Markets Project Plan (WMPP), which lists the status of 16 market initiatives as of June 2023. The WMPP is published every summer and winter, and is a companion piece to the ISO’s Annual Work Plan, which is published in the spring and fall.

ISO New England undertakes many projects and initiatives for the continued development of the region’s wholesale electricity markets. Three projects have been added to the WMPP since the December update. Six projects have completed the stakeholder process and are in varying regulatory and implementation phases.

The WMPP includes a Gantt chart, shown above, visualizing the timelines for projects that are underway or forthcoming in the stakeholder process in the next six months.
