June Consumer Liaison Group meeting to include discussion of battery energy storage

Registration is now open for the next quarterly meeting of the Consumer Liaison Group (CLG), scheduled for noon on June 8 in Peabody, Massachusetts.

CLG meetings are free and open to the public. A virtual registration option is available for those who wish to participate via webinar, which begins at 12:30 p.m. Registration is required for both attendance options. Registration allows the CLG to plan accordingly for anticipated in-person attendees, and to provide virtual and teleconference details to Webex registrants.

The program will feature a panel on battery energy storage. Panelists for the discussion—titled “Challenges of Long-Duration Storage: Where Are We Now with Battery Storage and Where Are We Going?”—include:

  • Priya Gandbhir, Senior Attorney, Conservation Law Foundation
  • Jason Houck, Policy and Regulatory Affairs Lead, Form Energy
  • Colette Lamontagne, Director, Clean Energy Development, National Grid
  • Rosemary Wessel, Founder, No Fracked Gas in Mass
  • Chris Sherman, Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, Cogentrix

The event will also feature an update from ISO New England. Additional information regarding the CLG, including meeting agendas, speaker bios, and presentations, is posted to the CLG webpage.
