Featured speaker, panelists announced for September Consumer Liaison Group meeting

Registration is now open for the third quarterly meeting of the Consumer Liaison Group (CLG) in 2022, scheduled for 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 15 in Providence, Rhode Island. A virtual registration option is available for those who wish to participate via webinar. Registration is required for in-person and online attendance, and webinar information will be provided upon registration.

The program will feature a conversation with state Sen. Dawn Euer, chair of the Rhode Island Senate Committee on Environment and Agriculture. In addition, the event will feature a panel titled “Winter Electricity: How Supply Procurements and Energy Efficiency Programs Impact Your Bill.” Hank Webster—senior policy advocate and Rhode Island director for the Acadia Center, and a member of the CLG’s coordinating committee—will moderate the discussion, which will include the following panelists:

  • Arah Schurr, executive director, Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP)
  • Jennifer Wood, executive director, Rhode Island Center for Justice

The event will also feature an update from ISO New England. CLG meetings are free and open to the public.
