ISO-NE VP testifies before the U.S. International Trade Commission
On July 29, Anne George, ISO New England’s Vice President, External Affairs & Corporate Communications, testified before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) regarding its study into the potential impacts of increased clean energy development in New England. The study was requested by Congressman Richard Neal, D-Massachusetts, Chairman of the House Ways & Means Committee, to explore the effect of increased investment in Canadian hydropower on the price of electricity, as well as the ability of New England states to meet their public policy goals. The results of the ITC’s study are expected in January 2021.
