Annual budgets and related materials
As part of our commitment to transparency and cost accountability, ISO New England’s Budget webpage (iso-ne.com under About Us > Corporate Governance> Budget) serves as a “one-stop shop” for accessing the ISO’s capital and operating budgets, as well as the materials related to their development, such as ISO presentations to stakeholders, filings with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and regular budget reports. The ISO’s Funding and Budgeting Process webpage describes the rigorous annual process that the ISO follows in developing its budgets with stakeholder input, oversight from the ISO Board of Directors, and FERC review.
As a not-for-profit, ISO New England is dedicated to promoting transparency and accountability across all aspects of our business. This commitment is evident in our focus on maintaining rigorous internal controls. One of the ISO’s core goals is to ensure New England’s power grid operates in the most efficient, reliable manner possible—and we hold our organization to that same standard. We hope these materials offer insight into our organization and facilitate a deeper comprehension of the ISO’s mission to serve New England.
