Consumer Liaison Group discusses the role of energy efficiency in wholesale markets at June meeting

The second quarterly meeting of the Consumer Liaison Group (CLG) in 2019 was held on June 20 in Westborough, Massachusetts. The meeting featured a keynote address by David Littell, Senior Advisor at The Regulatory Assistance Project, a regional update from ISO New England, and a panel discussion on “Energy Efficiency in the Forward Capacity Market: The Changing Landscape and Implications for Consumers.” The program was developed by the CLG Coordinating Committee, and panelists included (pictured from left to right below): Henry Yoshimura, Director, Demand Resource Strategy, ISO New England; Maggie McCarey, Director, Energy Efficiency Division, Mass. Department of Energy Resources; and Stefan Nagy, Product Manager, Distributed Energy, National Grid. The panel was moderated by Mary Usovicz, a member of the CLG Coordinating Committee. The next quarterly meeting will take place on September 5 in Maine.
